As part of your Irish language course, you will study the grammar and accuracy of the Irish language (both written and spoken), and you will study literature, oral culture, and sociolinguistics, through which you will develop your thinking, analytical, and persuasion. You will attend teaching classes that focus specifically on language courses, grammar, speaking Irish and translation, You will attend lectures on a wide range of topics within Lann na Gaeilge, for example, the autobiography of the Irish language, the tradition of storytelling, the stories of heroes, the old stories of wonder, the mourning, the tradition of singing, Modern Irish literature between prose and poetry, Irish language literature 17th century - 19th century, Chitinn's storytelling, language planning, dialectology, sociolinguistics.
