想做「大狀」? 去英國讀 Law

近年，不少 DSE 學生都選擇去英國讀法律。皆因英國奉行普通法 (Common Law)，法律制度十分完善，加上多所英國大學的全球排名又高，的確是一個熱門升學選擇。

但在決定是否升學前，不少學生及家長都會問同樣的問題：學生在畢業後可以如何留在英國發展或回港執業，成為一名律師 (Solicitor) 或大律師 (Barrister)？

到英國修讀法律課程

英國多所大學的法律學系都十分有名氣，頂尖大學如 University of Nottingham、University of Glasgow 、Durham University 及 University of Aberdeen 的法學院都在全英國排名頭十名*，每年吸引不少國際學生報讀。學生亦可以選擇透過為期大約一年的大學基礎課程銜接法律學士課程，並在成功完成課程後升讀大學學位。

法律畢業生回港的就業前景

英國的法律課程—般為期 3 年至 4 年，學生在修畢法律學士課程後若想回港執業，須要通過 Conversion Exam，並在取得合格成績後，報讀一年制的 PCLL (Postgraduate Certificate in Laws) 課程。成功完成 PCLL 課程及實習後，學生便可申請在香港成為執業律師。
